01Information used by this preview

When you create an account, Edged Pick stores your email address, a salted password hash, account identifier, access expiry, and invite redemption. It stores hashed session tokens and temporary rate-limit counters. Password reset codes are issued by the owner; automated email is not configured. Edged Pick uses this information to identify the owner and approved staff. Approved staff email addresses are stored for access control. Staff submissions store the selected author name, selection details, odds, stakes, notes, timestamps, and the submitting account identifier. Result corrections retain an account identifier and audit history.

02Why the information is used

This information supports sign-in, staff permissions, publishing, imports, and an accountable results history. The preview has no subscription checkout, payment collection, or marketing signup. No advertising or audience analytics scripts have been added to the application. Hosting and sign-in providers may process technical information under their own policies.

03What other viewers can see

Authorized site viewers can see published selections, author names, notes, and result history. Staff-restricted picks are shown only to approved staff. Account identifiers are excluded from the picks response; the owner can access the approved-staff email list. Do not include personal or sensitive information in pick notes or correction reasons. The landing page shows a limited recent model-results preview. Full records require an active account.

04Hosting and connected data

This version runs on the operator’s VPS with a local SQLite database and Edged Pick email/password accounts. These providers process information needed to operate their services. Their systems may process information outside your province or country; this preview does not promise Canadian-only storage. A configured VPS feed supplies sports research exports; feed credentials remain on the server and are not sent to the browser.

05Cookies and browser storage

Edged Pick has not added advertising cookies or persistent browser tracking to this preview. An essential HTTP-only session cookie keeps you signed in for up to seven days. Expired or revoked access is checked on protected requests. The dashboard’s filters and optional staff refresh setting are held in page memory and reset when the page is reloaded.

06Retention and corrections

Published records and audit history are currently retained to preserve the research record. Removing staff access removes the allowlist entry but does not automatically erase that person’s prior picks or correction history. A formal retention schedule and deletion procedure must be finalized before a wider launch. Access, correction, or deletion requests should be raised with the person who provided access to this private preview; removal may need to preserve records required by law or legitimate recordkeeping needs.

07Security and your choices

Owner and staff permissions restrict editing. Original picks are preserved and result changes are logged. Feed credentials should be kept confidential and rotated if exposed. No service can guarantee absolute security. You can stop using the preview or ask its operator to remove your staff access.

08Contact and updates

The operator’s legal identity and dedicated privacy contact are still being finalized. Until those details and retention procedures are completed, this is a private-preview notice for review, not a claim that every public-launch privacy obligation has been satisfied. Material changes to collection, sharing, or purpose should be explained before they take effect, with consent obtained where required.
